The four rooms

Four double rooms, two adults each. All with a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, a kettle with tea and coffee and a TV. Two have a private bathroom; two use a shared one.

Two adults per room, maximum. There are no extra beds. A cot is free for children up to 3, on request when you book.

Ilha do Farol

The most straightforward room in the house: a large double bed, air conditioning, a desk, a wardrobe and your own balcony, with a kettle, tea and coffee to hand and a flat-screen TV. The door has its own entry code, like every door in the house. The bathroom is shared with the Ria Formosa room and has a bathtub — we say so here rather than at the bottom of the page. The panoramic terrace, the lounge and the full kitchen belong to every guest.

Ria Formosa

For two people travelling together who would rather not share a bed. You choose when you book: one large double, or two singles. The terrace is private, with a table and two chairs — and, over the rooftops, the sea in the distance. Air conditioning, a desk, a kettle with tea and coffee, a flat-screen TV, a door with its own entry code. The bathroom is shared with the Ilha do Farol room and has a bathtub.

A large double bed and a private bathroom inside the room, with twin basins — no corridor in between. The room that earns the house its name. A large double bed, a private bathroom with a shower, and the sea from your own balcony: the same horizon line you get from the terrace, except at seven in the morning, still in a dressing gown. The whole penthouse

All four rooms, exclusively yours

The house is the entire top floor of a building on the Penha hill — which is why the booking platforms list it as a penthouse. Book all four rooms and everything becomes exclusively yours: the full kitchen, the lounge, the panoramic terrace and every bathroom belong to your group alone. Up to eight adults, in four double rooms. The price is the sum of the four rooms — tell us your dates and we'll confirm availability.
